BASINGSTOKE Town have added even more firepower to their forward with the re-signing of Lloyd Macklin.

The 23-year-old Camberley born player joined Town last July and hit the net seven times for the team during their excellent campaign.

Macklin came through the Swindon Town junior programme and made his debut for the Wiltshire side at the age of 15 and went onto play for Torquay Town.

Basingstoke Town manager Jason Bristow was delighted with his second signing for the forthcoming season and said: “Lloyd has been fantastic for us this year, his pace and power gives our squad another dimension.”
