THE wet and cold weather meant that several football games involving north Hampshire sides were called off on Saturday.
Hartley Wintney’s home game against Guildford City in the Combined Counties League Premier Division was called off following a lunchtime downpour.
Overton United’s game against visiting Colden Common in the Hampshire Premier League and AFC Aldermaston’s Thames Valley Premier League trip to Rotherfield United also fell victim to the weather.
Hartley travel to high-flying Ashford Town (Middlesex) on Saturday, while Overton are away at Winchester Castle and Aldermaston make the trip to Wraysbury Village.
