A TOTAL of 182 runners took part in the 2014 Tadley 10-mile race.
The event, organised by Tadley Runners, started and finished at The Hurst Community College, taking in Charter Alley, Axmansford and Baughurst.
The race was won by Aldershot, Farnham and District’s Tom Bowerman, who completed the course in 57min 40s, just under a minute ahead of second-placed Cameron Knapp of Tonbridge Athletic Club. Steve Barnes of Newbury AC was third in 59min 11s.
Basingstoke and Mid Hants’ Stephen Jeffrey was the best local finisher, coming fourth in 60min 59s, while club-mate Mark Slone was ninth in 63min 52s.
Unattached runner Laura Woodley was the first woman home, finishing fifth overall in 62min 6s.
