BASINGSTOKE Town Colts under-15s won the London International Soccer Festival, beating last year’s winners Actual Soccer in a dramatic penalty shoot-out.
The game against their opponents from central London ended 2-2, with the Colts’ goals coming from striker Aaron Nesbeth and centre back Jordan Mooney.
It went to a shoot-out, with penalties taken by Nesbeth, Aaron Hillier, Aidee Mosdell, Charlie Hayward and Connor Thorne as they won it 3-2, with goalkeeper Nathan Dow saving two.
During the week-long festival, formerly known as the Arsenal tournament, the team won all of their five group games, beating Thames Valley 4-0, Slough Central 2-0, Actual Soccer 2-1, Windsor 2-0 and Arsenal Bahrain 7-3.
