BASINGSTOKE Town Ladies are through to the semi-finals of the Southern League Cup after a 1-0 win away at Stony Stratford on Sunday.
Carla Mitchell got the only goal of the game on 33 minutes as the ladies claimed a narrow victory over their lower-league opponents to set up a semi-final against Woodley United at the end of the month.
The teams will stage a dress rehearsal for that game on Sunday, when Town visit the table-toppers.
The reserves lost 3-1 to Tadley Calleva Ladies. They travel to Widbrook United Reserves on Sunday.
