BASINGSTOKE-BORN tennis ace Josh Goodall enjoyed his first tournament victory of 2014 by taking the Aegon British Tour title at Corby.
The number one seed, ranked 459 in the world, received a bye in round one, before victories over Chris Morrow (6-3, 6-3), Joe Woolley (7-6, 4-6, 6-2) and Robbie Ridout (6-4, 6-4) booked him a place in the final.
There he met number two seed Toby Martin – and Goodall ran out an easy winner, taking the match 6-2, 6-3.
