Loddon Vale ladies remain top of the Riversmeet League despite losing 75-71 to Victory.
The winning rinks were skipped by Sheila Stone (28-16) and Pauline Oxlade (17-16). The losing rinks were Karen Winter (19-11) and Tina Rogers (24-15).
The ladies’ next outing in the Rivermeet is against Palmerston on February 1, with the next round of the Yetton Plate the day after against Bognor club Arun.
The club won a friendly match 130-91 against Dolphin at Poole last Sunday.
Loddon’s winning rinks were Mick Jones (29-9), Alan Tait (26-9) and Jim Rainbow (28-14). Ernie Sparrowhawk’s rink drew 16-16.
The two losing rinks were Sheila Girle (18-16) and Steve Foyle (25-15).
