NORTH Hampshire British Touring Car Championship drivers Nick Foster and Rob Collard were unable to sign-off their season in style at Brands Hatch.
Odiham’s Foster was involved in a head-on crash with Colin Turkington in race one as he was unable to avoid his spinning teammate.
This meant he started race two from the back of the grid and he finished 19th in that outing and 16th in the final race.
Hook’s Collard came seventh in the first race, but was hit in race two, while lying fifth causing him to spin and he dropped to the back of the field, but fought his way back to 14th.
In his final outing of the season he came in eighth.
After the results from the final weekend, Collard finish 13th overall in the Championship with Foster 15th.
See Thursday’s Gazette for pictures and reaction from the drivers.
