BASINGSTOKE professional boxer Darryl Still is on the bill as boxing returns to Winchester for the first time in 30 years.
The Guildhall is the venue for the fight night, which is on Saturday, June 8, with Tony Hill, Matty Tew, Alex Dilmaghani, Joe Pigford and Wade Armour also in action.
Still said: “It has been a frustrating period for me as have not boxed for six months and I am looking forward to getting back out there.
“I was due to box Bradley Skeete at Wembley for a title in March but, three weeks before, I had severe tendinitis in both wrists and could not even peel the potatoes.”
Still, now fully fit, added: “I know I won the last bout, even if I did not get the decision, so I am training hard to get back to winning ways.”
Tickets for the evening, which starts at 7pm, are priced at £30 and can be purchased by contacting Still on 07584 994624.
