A FILM crew has been spotted setting up in Basingstoke ahead of their shoot on Monday.
A notice put up on the railings opposite the church states that from 10am until 8pm on Monday, June 28, a filming event will take place adjacent to the public highway on Southern Road.
Members of the public reported seeing the crew removing the fixed bin from outside the bowling club, sparking rumours that a period drama is set to be filmed at the site.
One resident said a member of staff informed them that the BBC would be shooting a period drama.
It will not be the first time Basingstoke has been the location of choice for a film crew with the new Amazon Prime series Citadel having been filmed in the town in March.
