HE HAS gone from gigging in his hometown of Winchester to touring the world.

Now, Josh Savage is releasing a new single in anticipation of his upcoming album.

In Too Deep will be available on May 14, from the collective Another Life which is out in February next year.

Josh, now based in Berlin, has never forgotten his roots and often plays the Railway Inn when touring the UK.

His music is being released on his own label, Savage Tribe Records.

He said: "My heart was a battered vessel. But you made it glow. We speak the same language. Laugh in different tones.

"Have you ever fallen in love? Isn’t it absolutely terrifying? Opening up wholeheartedly, the vulnerability of exposing yourself to potential hurt past the point of no return.

"And you’re like, [expletive] – she got me.”

Josh's latest music is inspired by the likes of The XX, Amber Run and Lana Del Ray.

He hit the studio to tell the story of handwritten love letters, exchanged with his pen pal half way across the world during lockdown.

Josh is known for playing over 700 shows across four continents, holding the record for most Sofar Sounds gigs worldwide at 100.

He has accumulated over 6 million Spotify streams, achieved multiple domestic and international radio plays, toured all over Germany with Kodaline and supported the likes of Jack Savoretti, Reverend and the Makers, Roll Deep and Catfish and the Bottlemen, leading to showcases at SXSW Texas, Canadian Music Week and the Alternative Escape, Brighton.
