AN INTERACTIVE map has revealed the places around Andover that have the lowest number of Covid cases.

The lowest number was in the area around Collingbourne Ducis, where there were fewer than three cases in a seven day period.

An interactive map on the government website shows just how many people have tested positive for the virus in each area of the county over the seven-day period up to Sunday, November 8.

Public Health England breaks down the numbers of coronavirus cases into neighbourhoods called 'Middle Super Output Areas' (MSOAs), which are smaller than council wards and based on population rather than geographical area.

The interactive map allows users to type in their postcode and see how many cases were reported in their area and if it has increased or decreased from the week before. The darker the colour on the image, the more positive test results have been recorded.

The map highlights which areas of the nation have three or more confirmed cases of the virus and colour co-coordinates the areas by how many cases they have.

One week into England's second lockdown, coronavirus cases remain below the national average in Test Valley.

134 new cases were confirmed in the borough in the seven days to November 13.

It had increased from 116 the week before, but its rolling rate of 106.2  cases per 100,000 population is below the UK average of 248.6.

When you zoom in further, it reveals that he area around Collingbourne Ducis has recorded fewer than three new coronavirus cases in the week up to Remembrance Sunday.

Meanwhile, Over Wallop & Shipton Bellinger, and Chilbolton, Clatford & Barton Stacey recorded just 4 cases each.
