An animal rescue shelter is looking for help to find new owners for "tricky-to-rehome" guineapigs.

Furlock Holmes Animal Centre in Whitchurch, Hampshire, is hoping to find Donald and his companion Trump somewhere to live.

The two furry brothers are described as "lovely and kind" and need deserve a family of their own.

In a post online, the shelter writes: "After yesterday's overwhelmingly positive response to our plea for a home for our four bonded boys, we are now challenging you to help us find a home for the next "tricky-to-rehome" guinea pigs...

"So, meet Donald and Trump! These two have been with us for far too long due to their age, Trump's long hair and, most likely, their names!

"But, forgetting the now very bad choice in names (I'm sure they won't mind you changing them), these two are a lovely, kind pair of brothers who really do deserve a family of their own.

"At five years young, these boys are placid, wise and very confident - they have certainly met a lot of children during their time with us.

"Trump does have long hair, but this is easily managed with regular grooming and, if you are local to us, this is something we can help with.

"Let's find these boys a home!"

If you would like to offer these brothers a retirement home, get in touch with the shelter by filling out an application form here.
