A main road between Andover and Newbury has been closed this afternoon following an accident.
Police at the scene told this newspaper that they were dealing with a road traffic collision.
The inicident happened on the A343 near Hurstbourne Tarrant. Drivers are being re-directed onto Doiley Hill.
Hampshire Constbulary has been contacted for further comment.
The bus company Stagecoach described the incident as a "fatal accident" and warned of disruption.
