A CARE home and its residents are giving back to the community as a thank you for the support shown in recent months.
Ashbourne Court Care Home, in Salisbury Road, is offering wildflower seeds to passers-by as a token of appreciation.
Staff and residents have helped to prepare the seeds, which will be available to be picked up from outside the home.
A spokesperson for the home said: “We wanted to say a huge thank you for all the support you have given over the last few months by gifting wildflower seeds. They are available for everyone as a symbol of appreciation and hope for the future.
“The Magic Moments team Kay and Nemily have prepared wildflower seeds with our residents for you to pick up outside the home today to plant and enjoy. It is extremely important now more than ever to keep our residents’ spirits high and continue to feel part of their community. Sharing the joy of colourful wildflowers we hope helps to do just that.
“Thank you to our local community from all of us at Brighterkind Ashbourne Court.”
