A QUAD bike and trailer were stolen from a garage and an outbuilding near Andover this week.

Wiltshire police say the thefts occurred at an address in Allington, between Cholderton and Porton, at around 12.30am on Tuesday morning.

Images of the stolen goods have been shared on social media.

The registration of the stolen quad bike, a red Can-am 500cc, is HF59 APZ. The chassis number is 3JBEGHK17AJ00053 and the engine number M7228408.

The owners say it was in good condition having been used for less than ten hours.

The trailer is an Ifor Williams GX84, serial number SCK60000060503014.

Police say that on the same night as the thefts, a similar report of a burglary at an outbuilding in a nearby property was reported.

Gardening tools were stolen this time.

Officers are now appealing for potential witnesses to either incident.

A statement from Wiltshire Police read: “Anyone who saw anything suspicious on the night in question should call Wiltshire Police on 101, quoting crime reference 54200060018.

“Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
