POLICE are appealing for the public’s help in the search for two nanny goats stolen from a Test Valley barn.
Officers say Lulu and Dolly – the mother and daughter goats named after Lulu Roman and Dolly Parton – were taken along with seven other goats from a barn in Lee, near Romsey.
The theft occurred between 5.35pm on Monday, last week, and 8am the following morning.
Seven of the goats were later recovered after being found wandering in the road in Nursling but Lulu and Dolly, one of whom is possibly pregnant, are still missing.
The incident is being investigated by Hampshire Constabulary's specialist Country Watch team.
Officers have shared an image of the two goats but note that it was taken six months ago and that the daughter will now be much bigger.
Anyone with information about the crime is urged to get in touch with police by calling 101 and quoting reference 44200177169.
