CREWS from Andover were called to a fire this morning at Foxcotte Lane.
It was a false alarm as emergency services found disposable BBQs and rubbish left behind.
Andover Fire Station has urged people to ensure BBQs are cooled down before its thrown away.
Andover Fire Station's Facebook page read: "Please if you are thinking of having a BBQ have it in your own garden and make sure it has cooled down before you put it away or dispose of it. Have a great bank holiday & stay safe."
One social media user wrote: "I took my girls for a walk here last week and was really disappointed by the amount of broken glass there was. Such a shame!"
Another said: "It’s beyond me it truly is, as many have previously said you can’t teach stupid."
While someone else said: "OMG what is wrong with people !!!! Makes my blood boil."
