A STUDENT from The Clere has wowed crowds on the pitch while representing her country.
Kiera Skeels was selected to play for England women’s under 17 squad as they travelled to Latvia in a UEFA U17 Women’s Championship qualifier.
The 15-year-old, who at the age of 14 was taken on to Southampton regional talent club. got a run out in a 3-0 victory over Scotland and was named as woman of the match.
Kiera said: “My proudest moment was standing there singing the national anthem. It was an amazing opportunity, and I hope to be selected again and to be successful in my pursuit of an International football career.”
