A PEDESTRIAN has died after being struck by a car near North Warnborough in the early hours of this morning.
Police were called to the A287, near the Junction 5 slip road of the M3, to reports of a collision at 2am this morning involving a red Ford Focus and and pedestrian, a man aged in his 20s.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his next of kin have been informed.
No one else suffered any injuries in the incident.
Investigations into the exact circumstances of the collision are ongoing and police officers are calling for any witnesses who saw what happened, or who saw either the car or the pedestrian prior to the collision.
The road was closed for a number of hours this morning for police to carry out investigations.
