Arrests after 100 wraps of suspected Class A drugs found

Three people have been arrested after police found 100 wraps of suspected Class A drugs hidden in a garden.

Police attended a property on Shelley Close in Popley at around 12.15pm on Wednesday, June 10, following reports of safety concerns and drug-related activity at the address.

The police said: "Officers acted quickly after receiving information and located approximately 100 wraps of suspected Class A drugs that had been hidden in the garden."

A 44-year-old man from Reading, a 24-year-old man of no fixed abode, and a 22-year-old woman from London were all arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug.

They have been bailed with conditions to allow for further enquiries.
