A MAN charged with assaulting three security guards at a Basingstoke hospital has been sectioned under the Mental Health Act.
Sebastian Javier Reveron was due to appear before Winchester Crown Court this morning to be sentenced.
However, the 31-year-old could not attend because he had been admitted to Parklands hospital, his barrister Samantha Ball told the court.
Recorder James Newton-Price QC adjourned the case for three months, for an update on his condition or for him to be sentenced.
The case will next be heard at the same court on October 1.
Reveron, of Rooksdown, was accused of the assault of three NHS security guards on January 29, during the third Covid lockdown.
