A MAN from Basingstoke has been fined after stealing from Poundland and Marks and Spencer.
Leon Keith Davies, pleaded guilty to stealing items worth £10.50 in Poundland, Festival Place on May 4 this year.
The 23-year-old of Attwood Close, Basingstoke, also pleaded guilty to stealing £40 worth of meat products from Marks and Spencer on the same day.
Appearing for sentencing at North Hampshire Magistrates' Court on June 9, Davies was ordered to pay £40 in compensation.
His guilty plea was taken into consideration and it was noted that the items stolen from Poundland were recovered.
