DESIGNER jewellery, a laptop and £5,000 in cash were stolen from a property near Basingstoke town centre.
Thieves gained access to the house in Fairfields Road via the back door and searched through two bedrooms of the property.
During the incident, which took place sometime between 8.30am and 6.30pm on Saturday, 23 December, items stolen included £5,000 in cash, a silver-coloured Sony Vaio laptop, three white gold chains, one of which was a Louis Vuitton design, and another was a Gucci design, purses and designer scarves.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the incident or heard anything around the time of the break in.
