A ‘DISTRAUGHT’ dog owner has appealed for people to help find their stolen puppy.
Shirley Murphy’s husband was out walking their 10-week old poodle, shih-tzu cross puppy Daisy near the Soldiers Return pub, in Upper Sherborne Road, when he was approached by another man.
Police reported that the man approached Mr Murphy, picked up Daisy and ran off.
The incident took place around 2pm, on December 21.
Hampshire Constabulary has launched and investigation and is appealing for any information anyone might have.
If anyone has seen Daisy or has any information regarding the incident they are asked to call the police on 101 quoting 44170494019.
