A WARNING has been issued about a suspected fraudster operating in Tadley.

On Thursday last week, a man knocked on a door at a home in Burnham Road, saying he would be in the area closely inspecting people's houses for moss.

He told the person who answered the door to not bother phoning the police as he would be 'all above board'.

The man is described as white, aged in his 30s with long hair in a ponytail. He had blue eyes and he was described as having a pale face and a big nose.

Police have advised if anyone sees the man or anyone with any information should call 101 quoting the crime reference number 44170427111.
