FUN and games helped to raise cash for a Basingstoke special needs school.
Maple Ridge School, in Maple Crescent, Oakridge, hosted its annual May Fayre recently, with dozens of current and former pupils enjoying land train rides, face painting and a bouncy castle.
The event, which saw an appearance by Basingstoke Town FC mascot Stokey the dragon, helped to raise an impressive £1,143 for the school.
There were also dancing displays and performances from the Everest Community Academy Band.
