A FORMER glamour model is coming to Basingstoke to make her panto debut as a bad fairy.

Buxom blonde bombshell Abi Titmuss has joined the cast of the Gazette Newspapers-sponsored Anvil Arts’ production Sleeping Beauty, and will be casting spells over Basingstoke families from December 9.

Abi was in the town at The Haymarket last year, when she appeared as a pole dancing instructor in comedy The Naked Truth.

She made her theatre debut in 2006 in Two Way Mirror to rave reviews and for which she scooped the Fringe Report Award in 2007 for Best West End debut.

She has spent the last four years in a wide range of roles including Susan Frobisher in Fat Christ, Hazel in Up ‘N’ Under, Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, and has just appeared in Dolly Daydream in London.

The actress, who will be joining Wendy Craig and Andrew Agnew in the family show, said: “I am delighted to be returning to Basingstoke to make my pantomime debut as the bad fairy in Sleeping Beauty.

“I have always loved pantomime and with such a great cast, I know it will be a fantastic show. I look forward to meeting you all at Christmas, even if you will be booing me!”

Tickets for the show, which opens at The Anvil on December 9 and runs until January 2, are already on sale, and can be booked at the Anvil Arts box office, on 01256 844244 or online at anvil arts.org.uk.
