CHEEKY is a Syrian hamster in need of new home to scurry around in.
The cheerful pet has had several owners and is looking to be homed alone. He is lively and likes to nibble on fresh vegetables, including carrots, apples and lettuce.
STARescue does not know how old Cheeky is. As well as him, the charity also has two Chinese hamsters looking for new homes individually.
Anyone able to give Cheeky, or any other pet, a suitable place to live can contact the animal charity by calling 01256 330532, and leaving their name and telephone number.
STARescue is still running a neutering scheme and taking donations of soft toys to be raffled at summer fairs to raise vital charity funds.
