PUPILS at a Basingstoke school put on their thinking caps for a day in the brain gym.
Year 9 students at Everest Community College in Popley were taking part in a day of problem-solving activities which was designed to stretch their minds.
Assistant head teacher Angela Ashton said: “We have become a maths and computing college, so as part of that, we decided to do the day because it promotes maths and numeracy.
“The techniques used in problem-solving are transferable skills which can be used elsewhere in their learning experience, such as IT.”
The pupils used state-of-the art Qwizdom technology, which was connected to the interactive whiteboard, to answer their puzzles.
