THE body of man was found near Basingstoke hospital last night following a fire.
The body was discovered by firefighters called to deal with a woodland blaze on the footpath between Basingstoke hospital and Priestley Road at 9.20pm.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious and are making enquiries to identify the dead man.
