Sir.–We would like to thank the young lady who was kind enough to offer three elderly ladies shelter in her house and a cup of tea when our car broke down in the searing heat on Wednesday, July 1, on the A30 opposite Beechdown Health Club.
We couldn’t take up her offer as the breakdown vehicle arrived. Once again, thank you my dear for your thoughtfulness.
