RAM raiders have hit a plumbing supplier in Basingstoke and stolen five boilers worth more than £10,000.
They used a white Luton-style van to force their way into Plumb Center, in Sherrington Way, Cranbourne, last Thursday, between 10.35pm and 10.40pm.
Detective Constable Paul Smith, from Basingstoke CID, said: “There is every possibility this vehicle was driven away from the scene at speed, probably along many of the main roads through Basingstoke and possibly towards the motorway.
“This van is likely to have attracted the attention of other motorists due to the speed it was travelling at and because the rear tail fin may have been lowered to cover the vehicle’s registration number.”
