IT will be movie time at the Church of Christ the King, in Brighton Hill, Basingstoke, on Saturday at 2.30pm. Doors open at 2pm.

The film entitled Amazing Grace is the story of William Wilberforce and his fight against slavery. Choc ices and popcorn will be available. Entry is £4. Try to inform the church in advance if you are coming.

THE week of prayer for Christian Unity runs from January 18 to 25.

There will be services during that week in Hartley Wintney as follows: Tuesday, January 20, St John's Church; Wednesday, January 21, St Thomas More Catholic Church; Thursday, January 22, Methodist Church; Friday, January 23, Baptist Church.

All these services start at 9.30am, and will be followed by refreshments.

ON SUNDAY, January 23, week of prayer for Christian Unity is being held at St Bede’s Catholic Church in Popley, Basingstoke. This will replace the normal evening Mass at 6.30pm. All welcome.

THE week of prayer for Christian Unity takes place in Whitchurch with the Anglican, Methodist and Baptist churches having a service together on Sunday at All Hallows at 10am, when the preacher will be The Rt Reverend John Ellison, former Bishop of Paraguay. Everyone is welcome to all these services.
