THE Salvation Army held its annual Christmas Show last Monday at The Anvil, in Basingstoke. Each year is very different and this year the compere was Philip Hatto, of Kestrel FM.
Among those taking part were Basingstoke Ladies Choir, Jeannine Greville Dance Academies, Bishop Challoner School Choir, Reading Central Timbrel Brigade, The Salvation Army Songster Brigade, soloist Marc Harry, and a string quartet called “You’ll Know It”. Once again, an enjoyable evening in aid of St Michael’s Hospice.
CHRISTMAS services will be published in Thursday’s Gazette, on December 18, so I will need to have details from you by Saturday, if you would like your service to be included.
I CAN be contacted by telephone on 01256 475380, by post to 16 Brocas
