Basingstoke Art Club held an annual summer exhibition showcasing dozens of pieces.
The Hampshire Open Studios event featured 140 different pieces and over 300 cards by local artists at at Dummer Village Hall between Friday, August 28 and Sunday, August 30.
The Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane, Councillor Jacky Tustain,selected Michael Valentine to receive the Mayor’s Choice Award after a private view on August 27.
Entry was free and visitors could view original art from the local community.

Members of the art club who were displaying their work were on hand to speak to visitors and had an opportunity to showcase their talents to a wide audience.
Members of the club meet for informal Wednesday morning painting sessions, with more structured Saturday sessions also held in Brookvale.
The club’s final exhibition of the year, Edge of the Wild, opens at the Willis Museum on October 10 and runs until November 15. It will be open from Wednesday to Sunday during museum opening hours.
“Basingstoke Art Club welcomes anyone with an interest in art," said chairperson Jillian Smith, as the organisation enters its 80th year.
