A traditional Lion Dance performance will take centre stage as part of a restaurant's first anniversary celebration.
The event, taking place at Festival Place in Basingstoke, marks a year since the opening of Han’s Buffet and will be held at 3pm on Sunday, September 13.
A spokesperson for Han’s Buffet said: "Our first year in Basingstoke has gone incredibly quickly and we wanted to celebrate the anniversary by doing something everyone could enjoy.

"The Lion Dance is traditionally performed at important celebrations and symbolises good fortune, happiness and prosperity, so it seemed a perfect way to mark the occasion."
Han’s Buffet opened in 2025 and offers a selection of international dishes, including Chinese, Indian and Italian cuisine.
The anniversary comes at a time of growth for Festival Place, which has welcomed several new food, leisure and entertainment venues.
Recent additions have contributed to a 47.3 per cent like for like increase in footfall on the upper level of the centre.
Vicky Hickson, centre director at Festival Place, said: "Han’s Buffet has become a popular addition to Festival Place over the past year and the Lion Dance promises to be a fantastic way of celebrating its first anniversary.
"It should create a real spectacle for visitors and is another example of the experiences our restaurants and operators are bringing to the centre alongside shopping, dining and leisure."
The performance is free to watch and no separate ticket is required.
