Comedian Michael Spicer is heading to The Haymarket

Michael Spicer, creator of The Room Next Door, will perform his new show Hope All’s Well at The Haymarket on Saturday, October 17, as part of a UK tour which launched at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Spicer said: "Last time I was on tour the shows were packed out.

"Mainly because they were post-lockdown and people just wanted to go out.

"To be honest they’d have been happy if I was just spinning plates and making dogs jump through hoops.

"However, I’m thrilled to be on the road again to try and make sense of the chaos of the modern world, or at the very least distract you from it for 90 minutes."

Best known for his viral comedy series The Room Next Door, Spicer has built a following with his portrayal of a frantic adviser feeding lines to politicians and public figures taken from real-life interviews.

His work has earned him a Writers’ Guild award, a sell-out Fringe show, a book deal and appearances on The Late Late Show in the US.

He has also appeared in TV shows including The Mash Report, After Life and Bridgerton.
