A care home manager in Bramley has reached the national stage of an industry award.
Gigi Despojo, general manager at Cherry Blossom Manor, is through to the national stage of the General Manager of the Year accolade at the Barchester Care Awards.
The awards, run by Barchester Healthcare, aim to promote and recognise high standards in quality of care and life experience for the residents and the staff.

Ms Despojo was nominated for her leadership, focus on resident experience, commitment to staff development and strong relationships with families.
Jess Brolan, regional director for Barchester Healthcare, said: "This award celebrates individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence in their work and Gigi could not be more dedicated to top-quality care.
"We are all so proud of her for reaching this stage of the competition and hope she goes all the way."
Ms Despojo has been praised for her approachable leadership style and developing her team.
She has guided Cherry Blossom Manor through a number of challenges while maintaining a focus on putting residents at the centre of everything the home does.
The national awards ceremony will take place in late October.
