Gigi Despojo, general manager at Cherry Blossom Manor, said: "Our residents love any excuse for a party so when we told them we were going to have our summer fete celebration, they couldn’t wait.
"Lots of our staff and residents can remember the previous celebrations over the years and they have all had a fantastic time reminiscing about their fun and delicious food."
The summer fete is an annual celebration at the home bringing together residents, families and staff.
Many residents look forward to the event each year and enjoy looking back on past celebrations.
Cherry Blossom Manor is part of Barchester Healthcare and offers nursing, residential and respite care.
The home also runs a life enrichment programme of physical, mental and spiritual activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
