A community group has welcomed a new president.
Basingstoke Deane Rotary has appointed Debbie McLatch as president for the 2026/27 Rotary year.
She has been a member of the club since 2017 and is known for her warmth, humour and commitment to service.
Ms McLatch said: "As President, I hope to lead with kindness and grace, and a deep belief in what Rotary does best: bringing people together to make a difference."
Beyond her Rotary work, Ms McLatch is a senior leader in local government, a consultant and a business mentor.

Her predecessor praised the club’s success over the past year and their continued focus on community support.
Past president Paul Temple said: "The two major fundraising events, the Royal Marines concert at the Anvil and Basingstoke Festival of Transport raised sufficient funds to purchase two CTG Machines for the Maternity Unit at Basingstoke & North Hants Hospital whilst still supporting other local charities and associations."
Ms McLatch has also championed fellowship and supported a range of community projects.
She is described as dedicated to creating welcoming environments and uplifting those around her through positivity and encouragement.
