The postal service apologised for the inconvenience and promised updates as the situation improves.
A Royal Mail spokesperson said: "We're sorry to advise that deliveries in parts of the RG21-RG26 and RG28 postcode areas may be disrupted due to resourcing issues at the Basingstoke Delivery Office.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your understanding."
