A Father’s Day Memorial Service was held at Basingstoke Crematorium on Sunday, June 21, offering relatives an opportunity to reflect, remember and find comfort in shared loss.

Celebrant Helen McLean, who led the service, said: "Father's Day can be a particularly difficult time for those who have lost a loved one.
"It was a privilege to be part of a space where families could pause, reflect and remember together.
"We are grateful to everyone who joined us and hope the service brought comfort to all who attended."
Attendees described the event as peaceful and supportive, with many noting the comfort of gathering with others who understand the experience of loss.
The setting and warm atmosphere were also praised, with visitors saying they felt supported and connected during the memorial.
Organisers thanked all who attended and contributed to making the service meaningful.
They expressed hope that attendees left with "a sense of peace, comfort and connection" as they honoured those who "will always hold a special place in their hearts".
