Two teams, made up of members of the South Central Ambulance Service, are set to face each other in an exciting and entertaining match to raise money for the charity.

The match will be hosted by Basingstoke Town Football Club and will be played at the Winklebury Football Complex on Sunday, June 28.

The event will see all proceeds go towards the South Central Ambulance Charity, helping raise funds for training, uniforms and all the equipment needed to operate.

The aim of the charity is to get more voluntary first responders out ready for any situation. It already operates across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Hampshire.

SCAS volunteer programmes are not funded by any government funding, even though their community responders are; therefore, they rely on the partnerships they build and donations, including events like the charity match, to continue operating and saving lives.

The event is billed as a fun and engaging experience for adults, children, families, sports fans, athletes, and others who enjoy high-energy crowds, all aimed at raising money for an important cause.

It will not only include a match but also a day full of activities for all ages to take part in, with the clubhouse opening at midday, three hours before the 3pm kick-off.
