A building society has reopened a branch following a major refurbishment.
Newbury Building Society has completed upgrades to its branch in Festival Place and re-opened on June 5.
The branch, which originally opened in 2010, now features extra seating, additional counter space, and upgraded private meeting rooms.
Phillippa Cardno, chief executive of Newbury Building Society, said: "We are extremely pleased to officially open our refurbished Basingstoke branch.

"Whilst the branch has been modernised, our commitment to providing excellent customer service remains unchanged."
The work was carried out by specialist design firm Morgan Lovell.
Ms Cardno said: "We know how vital face-to-face service is to our members, and our ‘bricks and clicks’ strategy demonstrates our commitment to providing customers with access to face-to-face services as well as the choice to interact with us digitally via our mobile app and our online myaccounts service."
The Basingstoke branch is the sixth to be refurbished in the society’s network of 10 locations, as part of a wider programme to modernise its network across Berkshire, Hampshire, and Oxfordshire.

"As a valued part of Festival Place, we’re pleased to support Newbury Building Society as it continues to enhance its offering and create an even better experience for its customers.”
The Basingstoke branch is open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (from 9.30am on Wednesdays) and from 9am to 12pm on Saturdays.
