A NURSERY in Basingstoke has been named among the top 20 in the South East.

Bright Horizons Basingstoke Copper Beeches Day Nursery and Preschool, in Cliddesden Road, earned the recognition in the daynurseries.co.uk Top 20 Nursery Awards.

The awards celebrate nurseries that deliver "high-quality care and learning experiences" for children and families based on reviews and feedback from parents and carers.

Charlotte, nursery manager at Bright Horizons Basingstoke Copper Beeches Day Nursery and Preschool, said: "We are delighted to see our nursery recognised in this year’s daynurseries.co.uk Awards.

"This win reflects the dedication and professionalism of our teams, who work hard every day to provide high-quality care and early education for children and families.

"This award is especially meaningful for us because it is based on reviews from families, celebrating the care, learning experiences and nurturing environment we provide every day."

To be eligible, settings must meet strict national regulatory standards, reflecting strong inspection outcomes and a clear commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing.

Bright Horizons Basingstoke Copper Beeches has earned a strong reputation in the community for its focus on child development, blending structured learning with child-led exploration.

Practitioners encourage "curiosity, independence and a love of learning" in every child.

The nursery also places a high value on working closely with families.

Through regular communication and opportunities for parental involvement, the team ensures care is personalised to each child’s needs.

The award reflects Bright Horizons’ wider commitment to delivering consistent quality across its settings and preparing children for future success.

The Basingstoke Copper Beeches nursery is hosting an Open Day on June 13, inviting families to tour the facilities, meet the team, and learn more about early education and childcare options.

Registrations are now being taken for 2027.
