FLEET Town FC will host its biggest match in a decade this Saturday when they take on Horley Town FC in the Combined Counties Premier Division South Play-Off Final, with promotion to Step 4 of the non-league pyramid on the line.
Kick-off at the Easy As HGV Stadium is at 3pm on Saturday, April 25, and the club is urging supporters to come along and help create an atmosphere to match the occasion.
The final has produced a fascinating storyline. Fleet finished fourth in the league and Horley fifth, with both clubs ending the regular season level on 66 points.
That meant both sides had to win away from home in the semi-finals, facing teams who had finished above them. Fleet rose to the challenge last Saturday, travelling to Tooting & Mitcham United and winning 4-2, while Horley were equally impressive, beating Tadley Calleva 4-0. The two lowest-ranked play-off sides now meet with promotion at stake.

It represents a remarkable turnaround for Fleet. Around Christmas, the club sat in tenth place, but manager Warren Burton, his coaching team and players have climbed up the table since then.
A win on Saturday would see Fleet return to Step 4 for the first time since 2019.
Saturday will also carry extra meaning as it marks the final match of Caroline Bone as chair after eight years of service to the club. During her tenure, Bone has guided Fleet Town through significant challenges and developments on and off the pitch, and the club will be hoping a packed stadium and a promotion push is a fitting send-off for her contribution.
Club director Dan Campling said: "We are thrilled to be in the play-off final. Personally, it is an incredible thing to be involved in during my first season as a director.
"Having grown up and lived in Fleet all my life, I am incredibly proud of the team and proud to be a small part of it.
"This club means a lot to many people in the town and it would be fantastic to see the community come together and really get behind the lads on Saturday.
"I would urge everyone who can to come down and support us. Kids are free, we have some really special catering options available, and it should be a brilliant afternoon.
"If you have never been before, make this your first game and cheer the boys on as we try to reach Step 4."
Fleet Town's record attendance this season stands at 590 and the club is hoping to surpass that figure on Saturday. Tickets are available online in advance.
