A Basingstoke theatre is hosting a range of performances for families.
The Haymarket in Basingstoke is offering shows throughout May, including an adaptation of The Cat in the Hat and Fireman Sam Live! – The Lost Pirate Treasure.
The Cat in the Hat will be performed on Saturday, May 2, at 2pm and 4pm, and on Sunday, May 3, at 11am and 2pm.

This lively show for ages three and above promises a 45-minute adventure with Sally, her brother and the mischievous cat.
On Saturday, May 30, Ministry of Science Live – Science Saved The World will take the stage at 1pm and 4.30pm.
The show will explore the impact of science on modern life, featuring loud bangs and demonstrations like exploding oxygen and hydrogen balloons, fire tornadoes and hydrogen bottle rockets.
Fireman Sam Live! – The Lost Pirate Treasure will be performed on Sunday, May 31, at 12.30pm and 3.30pm.
The show follows Norman Price on a treasure hunt adventure, with Fireman Sam and his team stepping in to save the day.
