The Basingstoke Gazette published five death notices last week.
Every week, the Gazette publishes death notices and funeral announcements from the families of loved ones who have passed away.
As well as appearing in print, our death notice pages will remain online as a lasting tribute to the memory of those we have lost.

Passed away on 3rd March 2026, aged 76 years. Reunited with his beloved wife Maggie.

Gathered to be with the Lord on 25th February 2026, aged 66 years. Peter will be sadly missed by his wife Nicola, children Josh, Bess and Emi, daughter in law Fi, granddaughter Joy, Mum Doreen, siblings Jane and Did and all his family and friends.

Linda Anne SHANNON
Linda Anne Shannon passed away peacefully at home on 21 February 2026, aged 75, surrounded by her loved ones after a long and brave battle with cancer. A much loved teacher at Kings Furlong Junior School, Basingstoke, Linda dedicated her life to education and also spent time teaching overseas in Malaysia and Bahrain.

Pamela 'Pam' May CULLUM
Passed away on 25th February 2026, aged 87 years. Reunited with her beloved husband John.

James 'Jim' Langfear
Passed away peacefully on 4th March 2026, aged 97 years. Much loved grandad to Matthew and Jamie and father in-law to Rose.
