A shopping centre is inviting families to celebrate Mother’s Day with a free, feel-good event.
Festival Place is hosting the event on Saturday, March 14 between 11am and 4pm in Porchester Square.
The event will include a ‘Breakfast in Bed’ bar where children can create a personalised breakfast surprise for their mums, complete with a note and a flower.

Vicky Hickson, shopping centre director at Festival Place, said: "Mother’s Day is all about celebrating the small moments that mean the most.
"We wanted to create an experience that brings families together in a fun and meaningful way.
"Our Breakfast in Bed event is designed to help children show their appreciation for mum, while giving families the chance to slow down, smile, and enjoy time together here at Festival Place."
Visitors can also enjoy a ‘big bed’ photo prop for selfies and memory-making, and each family will then take home their personalised breakfast-in-bed pack as a special keepsake.
In addition to the in-centre activities, Festival Place is running a Mother’s Day Facebook competition until Monday, March 9, offering one lucky winner the chance to treat mum to a delicious meal at Côte Brasserie, along with a £100 Festival Place gift card to spend on the perfect present.
